People just get sick of the real world and materialistic ways..

Its a really amazing piece of literature. If you haven’t read it yet you should; Salinger was a little insane so let me tell you my bit and piece of knowledge about this guy. Salinger had a very confidential he tried to escape public exposure as much as he could. After writing “ Catcher in the Rye” people went absolutely crazy because it was that good, and waited till he would publish another book. He was a celebrity in the literal world (aka world of nerds). Rumors would come out that a new piece would be coming out and people would go crazy. OK long story short after he had gotten married then got divorced. During their marriage Salinger and his wife would write amazing detailed love notes to each other. To pay financial debt when they had divorced she had put the letters to auction. But one of his friends bought them and directly gave them back to Salinger. For a man who was that scared to be exposed he had a really good sweet friend.. But my point. he was an amazing writer. No body is probably going to read this.. I just typed this whole thing and now i feel dumb.
